Ada joined OHIA in August of 2023. She is a 2006 graduate of the University of Maryland where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Family Studies; she received a Master of Theological Studies with a concentration in Biotechnology and Ethics from the Pontifical John Paul II Institute in 2008. In 2017 she decided to make a career change and enrolled in the post-bachelor’s certificate in accounting program at the University of Baltimore, graduating the following year.
Prior to joining OHIA, Ada worked in public accounting for 2 ½ years and spent 2 years working with a behavioral health organization in the Baltimore area where she performed operational audits and investigations. She earned her Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) designation in April 2023, and is a CPA candidate.
Ada is a member of HCCA and AHIA, and has been a speaker at the MACPA Student Leadership Academy.
